Finally I end up with my first professional bday with ups, downs and some times steady..;) lets start with this first, currently am working with XWB project, I don know exactly wat it means may be I guess its d name of an aircraft engine, but as per me Xtra Worries Build….:(:(....!!!hehe...With a lot of worries i celebrated my bday finally..!!!
It was d day - 1st feb, 11:30am, I was sincerely working in d office. Suddenly I got one unknown number cal that too an young lady....;)
Lady: hi Mahesh, how r u?
Me: ya fine.. may I know who s this..??
Lady: May I know wer u r staying Mahesh?
Me: Bangalore.
L: that I know., wer exactly..??
After hearing this, I started thinking of new year resolution that u ppl already hav read in “day I met”, so I stopped telling my details n asked,
can u plz tell me who s this??
L: hey don worry , am jus intermediater to this, I need to give some thing to u so.?
Me: Am not getting u..??
L: can u tell me wer u r staying..??
As we all know I am staying in indiranagar/domlur but still thought that y shuld I tell ..?
So finally told, pinya 2nd stage mam..???
L: ofh too long..???
Me: From wer??
L: from my home???
Me: oh that’s bad, but y??
L: actually ur sister has given some chocolates for u, so I hv to give them, tom u hv ur bday rite??
Me: again got confused…!! From wer mam??
L: which sister would have given u chocolates..?? can u guess..??
Me: chocolates means , its not from india I guess…!!! Hope u r carrying those chocos from abroad.??
L: yes exactly Mahesh..!!!
By hearing this I became damn happy, coz my sis has sent me chocos from abroad on my bday..!!!!nice feelings..
Me: mam can u tell me from wer u r talking so that I can come n collect the stuffs..!!
L: am calling u from HAL..,, but it s very long to u na…:(
Withought thinking anything, I replied, hey mam I ll come now..!! am staying in domlur..!!
L: how come ya..??? how u suddenly shifted from pinya to domlur on phone cal ony..!!??hahaha
Me: No mam, actually am staying in domlur oly, but without knowing u how can I tell my address so didn’t tell...;)
L: oh talented ha..??
Finally by d evening I went to her home n brought my parcel which consists of half dozen chocos packet..
@12am of 2nd FEB I started reciveing calls from frnds/family n it was continued till 2am, n few ppl called in d morning 5:30 saying sorry for late wishes;);)!!!!!
So totally I dint sleep in the night , again morning so much pending work s ther to do in company… again I started worrying.!!!
After visiting temple went to office with worries oly... while signing in, its already showing my photo in the intranet site, for my bday wishes..:) after that just opened the outlook, lots of mails r waiting for me to c those beautiful wishes from my colleagues.:):)
Half d day I spent my time in replaying for their wishes oly..ALL wishes end up with asking sweets??? Then I thought If I will not give d sweets to my whole office, then they definitely gonna eat me oly…;);)hehe!!!
Then I called office boy n gave him some money to bring chocos n give to all…!!!
Later Again some xtra worry work was doing, I was totally mad with those requirement docs, suddenly my extension phone started to ringing..!!! I thought who ll cal me so kept quiet n expected senior to receive d cal who s sitting beside of me, suddenly she hand-overed the phone saying cal to u from DGM, oops..!! I thought I got stucked as I got cal from him..:O:O getting so many mails n attending spot meeings coz of slow status/productivity in our(Freshers) work, I thought he ll cal to his chamber n he ll ask me to justify ..?? but he didn’t do, he wished me, and said cheers, enjoy, ..!!! hmmmm:):):)!!!!
I was unbelievable, senior was looking @ me, she asked, wat he told??
I said he wished me mam..!!!!
oh, nice yar..!!! hav u expected his cal??
No mam, never in fact, I thought he ll ask me abt status..!!!
but in fact he made me happy with his wishes..!!
But finally, d day went with full of chocolates, wishes oly, and 2 times party @ nandini hotel, and good productivity in my work too..!!!!:):)
After seeing all these things, oly one thing was ruling my mind that
Its better to have bumps with few friends instead of so many shaking hands..!!
