ಅವಿಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ - 2018

Thank you for those who all became part of my journey in 2018 and a warm welcome you all for another super excited year - 2019.

Life is a Race! and the best competitor is ourselves. We have to set new records breaking our own by walking some extra pathways!

2018 was kind of same year. I went through many struggles, unknown paths, wonders and many new things!

#Jan :  It started with an year's demise of my granny on Jan 8th as well as my probationary period of married life. :) New home with new hopes , new place and new race. It started with knowing each other better than yesterday to make beautiful tomorrows.

The year was full of trips and trips!

#First trip after marriage, to 'Raya resort' with family friends – in the banks of river kaveri. Boating, kayaking together was fantastic experience.
Family friends, Tara and sunil - a lovely couple accompanied us in the joy.

This was one of the best start to 2018.

#Feb : It started with lot of surprises as this month claims my birth day :) My wife made my bday so beautiful. Very neat arrangements and surprises with lots of memorable moments. This Bday was unforgettable in life. Still I can feel the day of celebration.
More than 15 gifts including “Myphone” turning to “Iphone”. :)

I think, Gifting Iphone(Costlier gift) is not a sign of love, but it’s just a sign that she doesn’t care anything, for doing something for me which is more than a Love J
#Beyond Everything :)

#Mar : Month of our New year which we decided to celebrate at Bgr home. Myna prepared - obbattu, chitranna and full festival food for the first time is unforgettable. A wonderful beginning made the festival memorable.

Also, second resort trip (Urban valley) with Parivar Gang. Fun filled tragedy and drama was amazing :) Thank you guys for this wonderful and memorable trip.

#Apr : A summer month which actually made me enjoy winter again. This month brought travel plans for which I had to be away from home for 3 months. Flew to Minneapolis for my office work. For the first time my parents stayed away from native home for long 3 months in Bengaluru home with Myna.

Having friends and family accompanied to airport, I flew to MN on Apr~22nd till Jul~22nd.

Those 3 months were real lesson for me about life, family values and Love. It was not first time I was away from home, but I started feeling that It’s the first time being away from family! Not just spent days, all my dreams came true!

But being far really brought closer in life with loved ones!

Visited my friend Praveen at Newjersey during holidays in july.

Finally witnessed Independence day celebration of America from Hudson river. Those beautiful lights in the sky, in the full joy, skyscrapers of Newjersey and Newyork. I wish My family would have been with me to enjoy one of my biggest dream ever!

In one day, me and Praveen walked 24kms in the streets of Newyork for sightseeing. Visiting statue of liberty, Wallstreet –Bull, Times square, Central park, Brooklyn bridge and many more was very exciting and amazing.

Next day started to 3-days tour with new friends – sudhakar and raju who occompanied to – Niagara,Washington and Philadelphia.

It was unforgettable memory of my life to see that beautiful water falls – Niagara. It was not only dream destination but it was the life time happiness J. Though I was away from family, I didn’t miss to show Niagara to my loved ones being on video call from Niagara J. I wish myna would have been there! and pray god to give many opportunities to visit Niagara with family :)

Next day went to Washington, philadephia and then flew back to Minneapolis after 3 beautiful days of being in heaven.

Whole 3 months was a special journey, with special people. Though we know they are for smaller duration in life but memories made with them will haunt us.

Roaming on weekends, going for shopping, making new friends, visiting places was amazing and unforgettable.

By this time, I was really excited that my days of being away from home got over and I had to vacate room no- 222 at Marriott to head back to Mother India J

On July 22nd got back to home at Bengaluru.

It was a grand welcome by Myna and parents. Candles, lighting's, cake arrangements were beautiful and unforgettable. I never expected such a great welcome and I fell in love with family again to the core J

#Aug: This is also a special month as it claims Bday of Myna. Colorful decoration, with lots of lovely gifts from America too ;). After the Bday party, We headed to Kodaikanal which was most memorable and amazing trip.

2 days were like heaven and we didn’t miss single moment to cherish!

#Sept : A Special month of festival. There was first Ganesh Chaturthi festival after marriage was waiting us! We went to Davanagere (Myna’s home) for awesome celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi. Having my parents, sisters and family, celebrating festival in new style was fun loving one. It was most memorable and wonderful festival.

#October: As soon as we finished Ganesh Chaturthi, we got two more big festivals – Dasara and Deepavali. Though we celebrated Dasara at Bengaluru home, we went to celebrate Deepavali at Myna’s home ~ of course first festival after wedding! J.

Full with cousin’s, special dishes, playing cards and burning crackers made us float in the joy of lights.

#November: This month is again special because we completed 1 year being together! Its first wedding anniversary. Again celebration time. After finishing party at hotel, late night decided to celebrate it with spirituality.  Went to Dharmasthala and kukke Subramanya with Subhas was very memorable. It was all in one trip. Spirituality, trekking, forest, beautiful sceneries and Enjoyment.

#December: Though we headed to the last month of the year, trips were not ended! First week we went to Hyderabad to celebrate First year Bday of  my nephew – Mahitej. We visited Chilkur balaji temple, lumbini gardens, statue of Buddha at Hussain Sagar and much more!

Second week went to Sirsi- Itagi for one of the biggest event of the year ~ Shata Rudrabhisheka with In-laws.

Special abhishekam which I never attended in my life/heard before this. I was blessed to attend this maha Pooja. Temple was very beautiful, old, with clean and neat arragements, It was wonderful 2 days trip along with sight seeing around Sirsi with full family.

Last week of last month Ended with one more function at Mysore which was like family re-union.
