Some Months may be tougher,
but good months with tougher will be the Best year!

One such year was 2019.

An unforgettable and most successful year of my life 😊

#Jan:

This was kinda #Family month. My sister, nephew, her MIL and my parents were also here with us in Bengaluru home. We planned full of family trips around the Bengaluru which all comes within 200kms.

We visited :-

Chikka Tirupati, koti lingeshwara, Antaragange, Bangaru Tirupati, Vidurashwata, Ghati subramanya and Lepakshi.

As January brings the festival of Makara Sankranti. We celebrated in Bgr home only with full family.

#Feb:

My #Birthday Month. Started Feb by Celebrating my birthday.  On the birthday night, all my friends surprised me with cake and celebration. Having full family around is kinda very special for me!

We wanted to go Rameswaram from long time but due to one or the other plan it didn't happen. Finally I decided to send parents to holy trip – Tirtha khsetra, Not just to Rameswaram, but all the beautiful temples of Tamil Nadu.

I did  google about best temples of Tamilnadu, then I realised that all the biggest shiva temples are in TN.

With a dynamic plan and the list of temples, My Mom and Dad started Journey from Bgr.

They  covered: Kumbhakonam, Tanjavur, Tiruchirappalli, Srirangam, Madurai, Rameswaram, Kanyakumari, Nagercoil, Thiruvananthapuram, Guruvayur 😊.

I was guiding them over phone about what’s around their current location and they both managed to visit all places. I was booking train reservations instantly and Accommodation too! This was one of the best online trip management for me. My proud parents enjoyed the whole trip without any problems - Gods grace !!😊

#March :

I was due for my L1 Visa renewal. I happened to get my L1 Visa interview slot at Chennai in first week of march. So me and Myna planned a trip to Chennai. It was one of the memorable trip and first visit to Chennai for Myna.

We started from Bgr on Saturday and stayed in Marriott. Visited beaches, museums, did shopping and had lots of fun on the weekend!

After attending interview on Monday, later we decided to go to Mahabalipuram to spend rest of the day. We met Myna’s cousin – Anjali who was working at Chennai TCS. We three then went to Mahabalipuram and came back to Chennai. The same day late night we had return ticket to Bgr. Within short time we were able to manage it quite well.

Mid of the month, went to Raghavesh's wedding at Davanagere which happened in the same function hall where I got married! #Nostalgic.

#Apr:

This month is always special as it brings our New year. We celebrated Ugadi festival at native with parents.

Later of the month, we also had Lokasabha elections. I had booked my train tickets 3
months prior to native so that I can vote. As per plan, went to native and Voted to my honest and hardworking leader of our country. Also spent time with buddies.

#May:

Month of Marriages. Went to native to attend cousin wedding.

From there, again went to Davanagere to attend friend kruthika’s wedding which happened again in the same function hall where I got married! #Nostalgic.

Visiting the same function hall twice after my marriage is a great feeling! :D

In Professional front, I filed my first ever Invention disclosure at office, which was most awaiting!

#June:

Holy month! In every ashadha month, Iskcon celebrates function called ‘Pani hatti’ – Its like holy bath to Sri Krishna. When Chandru anna called me and said that they are going to celebrate a grand festival in the banks of kaveri river in sriranga pattana, I couldn’t deny.

I immediately called my friend Sandeep and convinced him to join for the function. Me, Sandeep and Chandru anna went in Sandeep’s car to Srirangapattana. Reached the venue in the evening. We Did join in the service for helping them to set up for function and preparing dinner. After dinner stayed night in the temple premises.

Dark night, Open sky, hard surface of the temple floor with mosquito net, water flowing sound with chirping birds was one of the amazing experiences after long time.

After getting up in the morning, took holy bath of Ashadhamaasa in kaveri river, got ready and went to swamy – Sri Ranganath darshana. It was such a blessed feeling during the sunrise of the day 😊.

Later of the day spent in the Iskcon function – Abhishekham to lord Krishna and balaramaa deities. Food after the function was unforgettable. 😊

In professional front, I filed my second Invention disclosure at office. Also attended "6 thinking hats" training. It was one of the best training i have ever attended. This training is all about thinking in 6 different perspective for a given problem to find out the best solution.

#July:

#FriendlyMonth. In this month we did potluck with our Parivar-Group friends. Myna showed her creativity to the fullest to decorate the food items. It was fun filled and lovely time spent together.

In mid of the month, got a thought in mind to go Chikk-tirupati temple by walk. Informed my friends and learnt that Deepak and AKB were interested. We fixed one saturday for this!

Chikka-tirupati is Lod Venkateshwara Temple. Its around 30kms from the home where I’m staying.

We started in the morning by walk at 5am and reached by 1:30pm. By the time we reached my friend Vaidya came on bike so we all had prasadam together at temple. Then cam back to home by bus.

Sometimes in life such efforts are needed to understand our self and the beautiful nature which really helps to strengthen one’s will power to work hard to achieve more.

End of the month went to davanagere to attend IHA’s naming ceremony (Myna’s cousin sister shuti-pradeep’s daughter).

Last day of the month, Tara and Sunil visited us. A day well spent and ended with the Italian dinner!

#August:

Very auspicious month. Shravanamaasa and Myna’s birthday month.
All of a sudden, I made a plan for 3 days temples visit (Tirupati, Sri Kaalahasti, Tiruttani, Vellore). No travel reservations, no lodging, just planned and we both left thursday late night to Tirupathi.

We reached Tirupati at 4am and started climbing the hill (Sri vari mettlu) as there was restriction for darshanam with limited entries. We got darshanam tickets for night 8pm.

Reached the hill top at 11am. Luckily got room in Kranataka Yatri Nivas. After completing all rituals and darshanam of lord Venkateshwara, stayed in Tirupati only on that day.

Next day early morning started from Tirupathi to SriKaalahasti, - Having darshanam, then to Tiruttani – Murugan (Subramanyaswamy) temple – Having darshanam, then started to Vellore – Golden Temple – Having darshanam, then late night stared to Bangalore so that we reached early Sunday morning.

Without any reservations, on the spot plan, without any trouble in the trip was memorable yaatra. Sometimes we should explore how blessed and lucky we are to execute instant plans without any troubles :), I'm Master in this :) :)

End of the Month went to native to celebrate shravanamaasa– LakshaPatriPooja. Mom was worshiping Lord shiva with resolution to complete 1 lakh Patri (Tridala) during shravanmaasa. We all joined to celebrate it after completion at native.

#September:

To support one of the project, I did fly to Minneapolis for 3 months.

It was memorable trip with challenging work and good project learning. Meeting colleagues/Friends’ other side of the globe is always special. I missed family for all the reasons, at the same time got busy with the office work. Some of the clicks from mobile :-

#October:

Month of festivals. Dasara was just celebrated by visiting nearby temple in Minneapolis.
But for Deepavali, I did fly to New Jersey to cousin’s place for celebrating festival with them.
Swatakka and Jyotakka made it possible .

First day we all went to adventure aquarium at Philadelphia in Audi and BMW cars. 😊 That was fun filled outing!

On the day of Deepavali, got up early morning and went to Saibaba temple for volunteering service with VJ bhawa. One of the best moments of life. Abhishekham to Saibaba, helping volunteers to prepare prasadam, getting items from nearby Walmart store was amazing experience.

Again after Deepavali flew back to MN and got involved in the office work.
Those 3 days of being away from office work and spending time with cousins was a great relaxation.

#November:

With the grace of God, Inventions disclosures filed in April and May got approved for patent filings and trade secret respectively.

Greatest feeling in the world is when your hard work pays off! Its just beginning and a long way to go!

After completing project work @ MN, getting Employee of the Month and Partner awrds, I started back to India on Nov23rd to reach India on Nov24th.

However flight delays always gives wild experience. Flight from Minneapolis landed late in Paris which made me to miss connecting flight from Bengaluru to paris. After spending whole day in CGD airport paris, I got connecting flight to Muscat then to Bengaluru.

I couldn’t reach BGR on 24th which is being our wedding anniversary, but reaching on 25th had not changed much. With lots of excitement and love Myna had arranged fruits-cake which I did cut after arriving to home 😊.

#December:

IHA's Kesh-Mundan ceremony was planned at Kukke subramanya. We all headed to Kukke subramanya and Dharmasthala. After having function at Kukke, we returned back to bgr.

Later of the month, parents from native and sister from hyderabad came to Bgr home.
2019 started with family and ended with family gathering.

One of the best and memorable year in the life which helped me to accomplish lot of personal and professional goals!
