ಅವಿಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ - 2017

Well, If you are one of them who made beautiful memories in my world in 2017 then i am lucky to have you here!!

Who knows the future! Who remembers the past ! and the one which always connect the past and future is your today i.e, Present. If you are living your present perfectly then your past will always miss you and future will be waiting for you..

Yes the same feeling for me to write this post here today! Which connected my past where i never knew the future and lived my present at that point of my life!

The year 2017 was just not an year for me like as many, it was full of life turning events, Driving the dreams and flying colors of my life..

#Jan-17:

  • Yes it started with sad part which never settles the pain of fulfilling the dream and bringing the lifetime happiness for my granny, for few of which I'm personally responsible. She departed from all of us on Jan 8th 2017 on the auspicious day of Vaikuntha Ekadashi physically, but mentally/emotionally she will always be with us with her blessings as lighting for our life..  It's been a year loosing her and nothing in return fulfills her loss to our family..

This is the last photo of ever i could able to get in my DSLR with my granny which I always cherish.

#Feb&Mar-17:
  • I was just recovering from the greatest demise of my granny, a surprise which I never thought was In front of me! Yes I am talking about my dream destination, i.e, flying to Germany which I was planning to do in the year of 2013 for higher studies and that time my Job changed my mind.
On February 25 2017, I flew to Lippstadt, Germany for official visit, that added count#4 in my dream 'world-tour' .

That's one of the wonderful time spent in my lifetime. Learning german language, spending time with people who respect you and exploring the new continent and their nature love impressed me a lot. The discipline towards life, their simplicity, their honesty and their helping nature changed my thinking style and empowered me from within.

Spent time in sight seeing places such as colone-cathedral, Dortmund's football museum, lippstadt's nature and finally visiting another country 'Netherlands'.

Special thanks to Sowmya and karthik for inviting me to their place - utrecht, Netharlands for their hospitality. Which infact added country count#5. A lovely couple being away from home really added the flavor of family and love in my journey with their treatment.

With them, I could able to visit every bachelor's dream destination - Amsterdam!! :)

A historical city of European continent famous for all its  architecture and beauty etc..
A city which is built on the river and beautifully maintained its very old architectures and world famous museums ( madame tussaud) and many more.

The city which changed my life. I realized something strange which i never thought of!

"Beauty can be bought anytime in this world, but not the beautiful heart which loves you unconditionally and unintentionally !!"

This one thought completely changed my life and helped me to take some important decisions of my life!

I could able to make few good friends in the place where i stayed, from each one of them i took one important learning for my life to live strong and long :)

#APR/MAY/JUNE/JULY :
  •  I may live hunger but not without Love! A bowl of care and love on it is enough for my survival on this lovely earth. After all what remains even in our absence is the love what we spread and the lovely people with whom we are associated.
Though the summer was Hot, Life time decisions were covered me as HAT.

One beautiful day in the month of May, My parents met Pooja and her family, and took lifetime decision to  send Pooja along with me in the journey of my life to care, share and decided her as my Pair...

What you need when you have the person who knows your complete past, present and decided to take breath together in an unseen future! I thank God for giving her to my life.

That's what i told you in the beginning , Past and future are always gets connected by your Present! The place, people, struggle and very valuable memories I left during my studies in Davangere got connected when Pooja entered my Life.

I never thought that, my soulmate belongs to the family who gave me shelter during my college days (Chennagiri Virupakshappa dharmala strust - Hostel). This is one of the mesmerizing moment of my life.

Many people asked me love marriage or arrange marriage! that's a good question by the way ;)  But You definitely need to love to get married. And being loved by someone is blessed life.
For me its Marriage, and I don't name it like love/arrange!

   Pre-Engagement Photoshoot

  • On June 11th 2017, Got engaged with Pooja Chennagiri (Thus changed to Myna) and I welcomed her to my world with love and only love.
  • On the next weekend after an engagement, on June 18th I got to travel to Minneapolis on official purpose which infact brought us close together to understand more about each other.
  • With lot of fun at work there, I did drive CAR for the first time in USA and went to the most awaited dream of my life Chicago. Roaming chicago and visiting willy's tower was an amazing experience. 110 floors tall building and you could see upto 80miles from top of the building was really a thrilling experience. I would like to thank specially to Vaidya, Sowmya, Divya and shirly for being there at MN to enjoy the beautiful time together.

#AUG/SEPT/OCT/:

  • After coming back to the India in July, got busy with Searching home. It was the biggest challenge I ever faced in 2017. Being in capital city of karnataka and being kannadiga,if i speak in kannada i dont get home here !! This is ridiculous but true!
  • One more amazing journey in the month of September with Roommates was visiting Hogenakal falls and Mahadeshwara betta. It was funfilled and joyful last bachelor trip to cherish forever. Thanks to Jini, Ghajini, Kar, Raghav, Akb, Akshay and Sap murthy for making such wonderful memories.

  •  Then Got busy with Marriage shopping, marriage preparations. Visited Kanchipuram for the first time for marriage saree shopping.
  •  Then comes pre-wedding photoshoot. I never go for professionals. I want to explore the possibilities always. Thanks to Jini, Kar, Madhu and Vinayaka for the wonderful clicks. Special Thanks to Jini for arranging lunch at his home during photoshoot and also to Kar for his time and CAR :D

#NOV/DEC:

  • After struggling for two months in the heavy rains for bengaluru for searching home finally found one of the beautiful and most satisfied home "Anugruha". Things will change as perspectives/responsibilities will change before and after marriage, one of the biggest challenge was to move from favorite area where i spent 7 years from the beginning to somewhere else. To Find Somewhere else was again Tough! But Happiness is when "SomewhereElse" results in more comfortable than what you where looking for.
Hence, once again my 3rd LAW proved it is correct :-

"Reality is always inversly proportional to your Imagination/Expectation"
  • Then finally comes the biggest event of my LIfe :- "Anubandha". I really thank to one and everyone from the bottom of my heart for helping and being with me from the start to an End of my Marriage Journey.
To my parents and my sisters(Family), I am grateful forever for whatever I am being today. They are the reason for my success and achievements. Without them I would be nothing. I pray god to keep us attached and connected lovingly to last forever. It was unfortunate to miss my 3rd sister during my wedding but my BIL helped her to catch the updates online always during marriage time. ;)

Real situations make us realize the worth of people around us. I never chose to have plenty around me, just one who is REAL with me is enough! Such ONE are many which make me feel wonderful when I look back.

It would be mistake if i don't mention them who were in each and every step of my Journey.
Vinayaka Patil, Chandru anna, Sandeep shetty, My roommates and many more who are in my heart always and ofcourse, cannot miss her , my WIFE :)

There is nothing more than saying, "WIFE, a best friend for LIFE". Thank you GOD for giving Pooja to my LIFE. It needs another article to explain everything! ;)

I would say Thank you 2017 for being wonderful for me. You will be always remembered for your good things!

Dear 2018, I have Only below requests for you :

1. Healthy and Wealthy LIFE.

2. Give Income, 1000-times greater than expenditure! ;)

2. Attain higher levels in career opportunities.

3. To be happy always with Family and friends.

4. Give more good moments to cherish forever.

5. Lot of Foreign trips ,to experience winter, snow fall and summer :)

At the End, Nothing more to say, Except A Very Happy n Prosperous New Year - 2018 :)

ಅನುಸ್ಮರಣೆ : Peace Is In Rest !

On this rotating earth, one thing in every one’s life is very steady! And that is, there will be 2 persons who are more lovable/Important than the parents! And that’s the reason why they called as Grand-Parents! They teach, they love, they care and when u look back, they will occupy large space in your beautiful moments!

When I was thinking what best I can give to the beautiful lady of my life, then I thought to write up an article in remembrance of her so that I can read it whenever I miss her, to make myself realize that she is around me watching and never far away!

And this is the best I can give to her!! I admit it.

It has #Awesomeness, #Bravery, #Care, #Dedication, #Energy, #Fun, #Greatness, #Happiness, #Information, #Journey, #Kindness, #Love, #Memories, #Nourishment, #Occasions, #Purity, #Quietness, #Remembrance, #Silence, #Toughness, #Universe, #Vital, #Win, #Youngness and #Zeal.

Yes! I am talking about a woman, who had shown me all the above 'A-Z' feelings in her life through.

 #Journey:-

A small village in 'TamilNadu' was under the district of Coimbatore (Now changed), within a distance of 19kms from the holy place - 'PALANI (Subramanya swamy Temple)' and it is called as 'SAMRAYPET'.

A sweet family, with a beautiful daughter of age 9, was named as Hamsa-Veni, growing with her 2 MARRIED Elder Sisters and 4 younger sisters along with a very small, cute, smiling brother, who was not able to identify his sisters all alone unless someone points out with their name!

As it falls under the different-language-region of India, a girl of age 9 was schooling in local language and was able to write up to a level of Tamil script and can read by anybody those who know Tamil!

A few business men from the region of North-Karnataka (Gulbarga) were used to go for trading to the region of Coimbatore as there exists train connectivity in proper and good established market and business between the 2 different regions, 2 different cultures and 2 different languages.

As family was small and rich-in carrying big burden of 6 daughters, decided to go against
'RAJA RAM Mohan Roy!'

Those were the olden/golden days and child marriage was in action for some extent I believe and which I personally support more and more ;) ;)]

A business man named ‘Manikappa’ married to ‘Hamsaveni’ at her age of 9 and brought her to his home (North - Karnataka, Sedam-Gulbarga dist.) and changed the name to ‘Anu’, this is what I got to hear from her!

She was spending her time with his family and living her childhood days, though her husband was to be in business trips. Train lane was passing a side by to the home and railway station was just a walk from home. She was looking at the trains whenever it passes by to enter railway station, thinking ‘one day her father will come to meet her!’ This kept her waiting.

Sometimes tears dropped down to the cheeks in waiting, sometimes she used to feel she has lost in the world of unknown, later she used to be happy by seeing her husband and his family thinking about her new world.

Yes it is painful for any woman to adjust the (un)known family in the beginning. One day time takes her to the place where she becomes the complete family for connecting past to the future!  Such a wonderful feel for a woman it is!

As the time goes on, Things got settled quit well. She turned to be an older now! They moved to the place called “Rajeshwar”, A small village in the district of BIDAR in Karnataka state under south region of the proud India!

On March 04th of 1954, @ the age of 23, Anu blessed with a baby boy and a big thing in her life has turned bright smile on her lips and happiness in her face :)

Now baby has become her complete world! She started spending her time in nourishment of baby and started dreaming her heavenly future in him.

Indeed a true dream of all women! A mother always dreams of her kid to grow rich and fulfill all her dreams which husband couldn’t do it!

To be frank in India, Every woman gets her identity from her kids rather from her husband!
[Ex: Rahul Gandhi’s Mother ;)]

Same as past, like childhood, her married life was full of compromises and not so easy.
One or the other un-expected things always on her way in her life.

At the age of 25, on the cloudy evening, while sun was almost to set, it was turned to be a black day for her! Though it was just a day for others.

When her son was just 2 years old, her husband went to a sleep forever by jaundice attack.
A big storm in her life, what can a woman with 2 year old kid, far from her own family, does?

No way ahead! It was a big shock; big killer-tide just washed away the entire life in one eye blink!
Everything was stopped for her! Almost!
At that time, if she would have quit her life with a baby what would have happened?
If she would have gone back to her home where she was grown up, what would have happened?
If the baby was left alone in this world, what would have happened?
If it would have happened to be so, this story would have not come true here in my blog!

A Brave woman,
Started living her life for the future of Kid,
For the growth of the family,
                  For the meaning of life,
                        For a beauty of life,
For a reason to the life!

She was living in the society of rich families. Neighbors were rich land-lords, having own houses and growing kids to take care! She gave all her gold ornaments which she had, to keep it with her husband’s distant relative with a promise to give it back for her son’s wedding which never returned to her!

With the God’s mercy on her, she got some room to stay in-between those families, she started taking care of those rich-kids, she started cooking for them, she started washing their cloths,
She started taking care of her world (Son).

And meanwhile she started her new life and that’s the new beginning of her life!!

After few years,
Her son got into a college and he used to take coaching classes for the school kids to arrange his school fees and send some money to her.

When he was 18, he got selected as an army officer by his physical and mental abilities. But Anu was told by neighbors that he would never return to home if he becomes an army officer which made her to cry and not to send her son for a Job, hence he rejected that offer!

By that time, all the rich families were migrated to nearby city; they decided and opened a general store (Small Groceries shop) in the year 1975 in Rajeshwar. The shop is situated where 80% of Muslims and 20% of Hindu’s are residing. There are 2 Hindu temples and 1 mosque in front of the shop, where everyday evening without a miss she used to light a lamp for all 3 holy places irrespective of religions! Even now it is.

The above all was a painful-past and here starts the new beginning of the Old Family ‘Ainapure’.

Then enters another beautiful lady into the World ‘Ainapure’, with same name ‘Anu’ as her ‘daughter-in-law’,

With Ups and Downs, with Grace and race, with Poverty and Purity, family was praying for baby boy after 3 daughters and my granny was like MUST in this case!

It was Thursday, Feb 2nd, early morning before Sun-rise, I came to this world! That’s how I connected to this Family and this world, and so that they have become my world!

For my mom I was an another child like her 3 daughters ( My 3 elder sisters like Lakshmi, Parvati and Sarasvati :D without them I wouldn’t have been here today! ) But for my granny I was like a hero for my family, more than my mom she was happy for me.

All my childhood spent in loving/fighting with my sisters, helping dad in business and granny in shop, helping mom for anything required and helping myself to learn from them!

Whenever I used to bring something for shop, I never did return the remaining money to my granny and she was never asking either! Thus it made me to open a savings bank account at the age of 12 without letting my family members to know except my first sister. Of course she was one of the financiers too.

That’s how a trader, financier and an investor raised in me!

Whatever my granny was getting to eat something special for us, 50% share would reach me always and remaining 50% would be shared between my 3 sisters. I used to fight with my sisters to share 50% of theirs to divide by 4! But unfortunately they had majority of 3 and they were grabbing my 50% share to have myself left with only 25% without my notice. And I was thinking I had more shares in sweets or whatever it was! ;) And they were laughing at me..

There was an old lady from my neighbor village selling khowa (sweet) in my native and she had grandchildren too. After her day gets over before going to her village she used to visit our shop and they both were exchanging khowa and snacks. Khowa for me and snacks for her grandchild. Every day while coming from school I used to visit my granny where she was waiting for me with khowa which I alone used to finish without giving it to my sisters. This continued for 5 years until I changed my school and joined another one.

We never worried about what profit we were getting from shop. Coz, my granny always believed donating rather than selling! :D .  If any kid visit shop, she was giving chocolates for free, if any farmer was visiting shop, she was giving Bidi/cigarate/tobacco for credit/free. And those farmers always used to bring something while returning home from field like fruits, grains, or something that they grow at filed and give to my granny. She was telling always that ‘God is watching me, he gives me something in return which might not be directly to me, might be from my grandchildren’. Might be the reason, I still wonder ‘Why I get good people always around?’.

Though we all grandchildren were living away from home for our studies/Job, whenever we visited home, after dumping luggage at home, we used to run to shop to meet our granny and never returned empty, always returned with biscuits, bread and something more.

I still remember an incident, she was hospitalized 5 years ago due to sickness and when doctor was not guaranteeing her safe return to home, my dad whispered in her ears that, “Mayya, got enagaged and marriage will be after elder sister’s marriage”.

Couldn’t believe, no medicine in this world worked for her sickness and the above line made wonders! She got up from the bed like nothing has happened to her and returned home as a normal person didn’t even realizing that she was there in hospital from 2 days. Doctor was astonished by her progress in health and shocked!

From the day next, she started spreading news to whoever visited her shop that “My grandson got engaged to the neighbor town’s (Humnabad) girl” And this story was untold to me, in fact from all of us. When I went to native from Bangalore on weekend, while walking from my native bus stop to home everyone were asking me, ‘When are u throwing marriage party?’. I wonder, how come all people can ask me treat and what for it is?

I went to my mom and asked she started laughing hard at me and told to go and speak granny.
I went to her, she gave me 100rs and told to visit my fiancé’s home with fruits and sweet.
I started laughing, laughing and laughing.. Then I asked what happened. She was strongly believing that I got engaged and waiting for my sister’s marriage settlements.

My dad explained me all the story then I continued the story. Whenever I visit home, I used to inform my granny that I am going to fiancé’s home, so she was keeping 100rs in my pocket.
It continued for 5 years and she still had the same belief when she was lying down on bed at hospital after her fracture!

Then I realized, more than medicine u need beliefs to live!! And trust me it works!

I know it was a sweet lie, but it’s a Life saving/living spirit for one who loved more and more to me.
She had only 1 dream; she wanted to see my marriage before my immediate elder sister’s marriage.
Of course I may not agree to get married before my sister’s. It’s a sense of responsibility which I should bear and never escape from it!

On June-14th 2016, after returning from shop she fell down at the entrance of my home and which made her hip joint fracture. After she was bed ridden, my immediate elder sister got engaged and got married. Her condition was critical but she withstood the pain and made all the way for smooth marriage!

On 8th Jan 2017, on the day of Vaikuntha Ekadashi, on an auspicious day, at 4:30pm, my granny went for long sleep which was biggest loss for all of us in my family. It was just a 15 days after my sister’s marriage. Even there she proved she won’t disturb anybody in any means!

Yes, it’s a biggest loss for my Family especially for me on whom she had lot of expectations!!I am sorry for not meeting few of them though, but on that day I decided something!

There are few things which I want to confess today!

  • She always wanted to go in our own car which we don’t have yet! Though I could afford it I never thought its priority in my life right now! But when I drove her first time in dad friend’s car, she was having joint fracture and I was driving to scanning center. This was a most painful moment for me!
  • She wanted to see my marriage/partner whatever, I couldn’t fulfill.
  •  I wanted to take her in airplane to somewhere just to make her happy. Because to make her realize that “Days are changed now!”. And God addressed her prayers and her generous service in her lifetime. When I felt I am ok to go for airplane trip, she was not healthy and when she was healthy I was not wealthy! So I couldn’t make it!
So, if you have something to do for your dear ones, don’t wait for long. Fulfill it before time takes you far away from the things to make it never be possible, anytime!

After my granny left, I decided few things in my life :-

  • Left drinking tea for a year in her remembrance which she was loving most! Its ritual in our family that to give up one thing what they love most till their first death anniversary.
  •  Whatever I start new thing in my life, it will start with her name! So that her blessings will always be with me!
  •  Whenever I travel in airplane, I carry her frame captured her smiling face, so that the thing which I couldn’t fulfill when she was alive will at least reduce my sadness!
Dear Granny, though you left us, I still feel you are somewhere around us caring/praying always for our goodness which you have done the days u lived!

I have seen good things, sometimes miracles too! but I am still exploring one thing that,
“Why I always meet a good people around me?”.
The only answer I have with me is coz of someone’s love and prayers for me.
Of course my granny and my parents are the reasons for it! I admit it.

Today, if I feel I am successful, it’s just because of my parents and my family then my friends.
If I have failed in something, somewhere, then it’s purely coz of my mistake!

With your inspiring story, I started feeling more respect towards women. Without her nothing is live/lovely in this world!

After 50 years in future, if any of my grandchildren wants to know about the seed of the family, I can proudly share this link to them!!

May be for others you were just a woman on earth, but for me and my family u were the beginning and everything!
